If a replacement g-1 battery is being used for the first time or if the canon g-1 battery has not been used for a prolonged period.it may be necessary to connect the canon battery charger and then disconnect and reconnect it to start the charging.

If the canon g-1 battery is completely discharged,it may take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made.Use the canon g-1 battery/canon ixy dvm battery/canon mv x1i battery/canon mv-30 battery battery only for its intended purpose.Never use any charger or battery that is damaged.
